The State Duma decided to tighten penalties for violation of the provisions of the anti -tobacco law. The deputies decided to brutally punish violators, thereby replenishing the state treasury.
The State Duma adopted a new bill regarding the tightening of penalties for violation of anti -tobacco law. From now on, any violations of the rules for the sale of tobacco products, smoking in wrong places, as well as propaganda of tobacco are punishable by the payment of penalties. For smoking in the wrong place, a fine is provided for in the amount of 1 to 1.5 thousand rubles, on a site intended for children’s recreation – from 2 to 3 thousand. For citizens who have involved a minor in the smoking process, a penalty is also provided, the size of which is from 1 to 2 thousand rubles, for parents or guardians who neglected current norms, the amount of payment was increased to 3.5 thousand.
The State Duma decided on the special nature of penalties for the sale of tobacco products to minors: for example, officials will have to replenish the state treasury for 50 thousand rubles, legal – from 100 to 150 thousand rubles. In addition to the above violations, the impressive amount of funds will have to pay to persons who have demonstrated tobacco products and the process of their subsequent consumption in audio and/or video works. In general, the amount of the fine varies from 20 to 200 thousand rubles. According to the bill adopted by the State Duma in February of this year, a ban on smoking in state institutions, on the territory of airports, workplaces, in the entrances of residential buildings and at stopping points is imposed. A month ago, information was received on the introduction of some amendments to the bill, according to which the ban on smoking at airports and stations is removed – however, smoking is allowed only in specially designated places.
