On February 15, a visit to Peru, the UN Secretary General Pan Hi Muna, was awarded two letters from the parliamentary league of Per-Cube and from the Peruvian Committee of Solidarity with the five with a request to intercede for five Cuban anti-terrorist wrestlers languishing in American prisons in American prisons.
The message written by the Committee of Solidarity says that for more than twelve years there are five Cubans behind bars, whom the American authorities sentenced to a shameful execution for a crime that they did not commit.
Ramon Labanino, Fernando Gonzalez, Antonio Herrero, Rene Gonzalez and Gerardo Ernandes are courageous fighters with terrorism. They devoted their whole lives to the fight against this atrocity.
All progressive humanity is outraged by what is happening, and the public still managed to achieve the reasons for the detention of these courageous people, but this did not bring them such a desirable freedom.
The following the letter says that it was these five Cubans who became the victims of the hatred that the United States regarding Cuba. It is this hatred that is the reason that forces the American authorities for more than half a century to keep the fierce blockade of the island of Freedom.
The Committee of Solidarity with the Five asks Pan Hi Muna as the United Nations Secretary, to stand up for the speedy liberation of five Cuban anti -terrorists.
The letter of the parliamentary league of Peru-Cube, which includes legislators of various political parties, also contains a request to Pan Hi Muna personally help in the early liberation of five Cuban wrestlers against terror.
The League also urges the UN Secretary General to call for the United States of America to stop the brutal blockade of Cuba for half a century as soon as possible.
