Test tests were held today in the new terminal of Pulkovo International Airport. More than 200 volunteers checked the operation of a large transport hub systems.
More than 200 participants in the testing of the new terminal helped today Pulkovo Airport to identify possible shortcomings, shortcomings and malfunctions in the work of the new terminal systems. For volunteers, everything was “real”. Starting from tickets, ending with luggage. Before starting the testing, a briefing was carried out on which volunteers were warned about the ban on smoking in the territory of the terminal, about the ban on photos and videos, they asked to refrain from using the airport socket for recharging phones. Each testing participant was distributed individual tasks, and two tickets and “baggage” were issued for their implementation, including the “prohibited load”. Everything was real: real queues for registration, pre -flight inspection and even landing on the aircraft. In memory of this day, the volunteers will have not only impressions, but also souvenirs. According to plans, more than 40 such tests will be carried out, among which even emergency conditions are outlined with the participation of the Ministry of Emergencies. It is expected that such “training” will help to identify all the shortcomings in the work of the systems of the new terminal, in order to avoid them after its launch. Testing will be held until November 21, and you can sign up for them on the Pulkovo Airport portal.
