The flag of the city of Dolgoprudny, approved on August 4, 2003 by the decision of the city council of deputies-an identification-legal sign, which is a symbol of this municipality. About the flag
The flag is made in the form of a rectangular bilateral panel, divided horizontally in the form of a wave into two parts: red and blue. In the center is a stamp composition: a white swan with a beak and yellow eyes, with the wings moving upward, floating along the blue part of the flag. In the blue part of the panel there are 2 narrow wavy lines of white color.
What does the symbolism of the flag mean
In 1914, where the city is located, a railway platform was built, which was called Dolgoprudny, west of the platform, a airship was built, all this is reflected in the symbolism of the flag.

The red part of the panel symbolically shows the industries of the city, uniting the fate of more than one generation of workers who made an invaluable contribution to the formation and development of their city and the region.
Yellow color means intelligence, strength, greatness and generosity. Two wavy lines of white color mean two long ponds that gave the name to the city.
