The document introduces for individuals a registration system for taking into account the place of residence and stay. 250 deputies of the Rada voted for him with the required minimum of 226.The list of persons obligated to register their place of stay includes people who leave the administrative-territorial unit for more than one month, where their main place of residence is located, people who have imposed property penalty and citizens who are subject to urgent military service or which are those who are a military service direct participants in the trial.
The law also provides for the obligation for parents to register newborns within a month from the date of registration of birth in the registry office, while parents can receive a transfer from the Ukrainian birth certificate.
Citizens of Ukraine, as well as foreigners and persons who do not have citizenship, constantly or temporarily residing in the country, must go through the registration procedure ten days after arrival at the place of new residence.
Accounting for those citizens of Ukraine who live abroad, keep a DIP institution of Ukraine in the manner determined by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
In the event that a citizen changes his address of his residence, then he or his legal representative must notify the body registration of this within 10 days.
