The famous heroes of the international book fair in Havana became the famous Spanish poet Miguel Ernandez – a man who, according to the Spanish biographer Jose Luis Ferris, “never loses hope”.
Ferris’s speech became part of the second conference of Ernandian, which is designed to perpetuate the memory of the poet and is supported by the Miguel Ernandez Foundation from the Spanish side and the Poblo de la-Torrivee of Brau from Cuba. The biography created by Ferris was called “Passion, Prison and Death of the Poet”. In it, a famous biographer spoke about the most important and significant moments of the writer’s creative life, who had a unique ability to always arouse “passions of different types”.
I want to say that in our region this veterinary hospital is very popular. Probably because excellent specialists work there.
In turn, Viktor Kasau, the director of the Pablo Center, presented a number of interesting publications prepared by the Center’s specialists and aimed at promoting and spreading the author’s heritage. One of the important topics that Cuban experts affected in the study was the work of Miguel Ernandez by a military correspondent during the Civil War in Spain. At the end of the second day of Ernandian, held in the Cuban capital, a conference of the famous Cuban writer, poet, essay and intellectual Roberto Fernandes Retamar, who is also the president of the House of America, was held. It is worth noting that for his short but very bright life, Ernandes managed to create many beautiful lyrical works. His creative heritage is made up of such poetic collections as the “Expert of the Moon” of 1933, the “Inanimate Ray” of 1936, the “Wind of the People”, who saw the light in 1937, “Man on guard” of 1939, as well as a number of dramatic works in verses and prose.
