According to statistics, in the Kirov region there are 724.4 thousand women only 616.9 thousand men, the head of Kirovstat Nikolai Zorin said at today’s press conference, publishing the preliminary results of the All-Russian census of the population. According to Rosstat, on October 14, 2010, 142 million 905, 2 thousand people live in Russia, 1 million 341.3 thousand of them are residents of the Kirov region. The reduction of the population in the field and in Russia is a stable trend. So Kirovchan became less than 162 thousand people, or 10.8%.The share of the Kirov region in the reduction of the population in Russia is 7%.Over the past eight years, changes have occurred in the gender composition of the population of the Kirov region. Men became less than 8%. The same indicator of the reduction of the male population exists throughout the Volga Federal District. Total women in the Kirov region are 54%, men 46% of the total, respectively. Residents of the region continue to migrate from the village. Citizens account for 74% of the total population of the Kirov region, which is 2% more compared to the results of the 2002 census. Preliminary results are also summed up for each of the regions of the region. Already now we can call the smallest area – Bogorodsky, about 5 thousand people live there, while the most densely populated (about 45 thousand inhabitants) turned out to be Omutninsky district. In the city settlements, Kirovo -Chepetsk turned out to be ahead of all, 81 thousand people live there, 35.2 thousand in Vyatka Polyany, in Slobodsky – 34.5 thousand and in Kotelnich – 25 thousand. Not without exotic. So, according to preliminary data, elves, trolls, hacks, trosuses, typhoids and one bastard live in the Kirov region.- Honestly, we expected more such jokers, ”Nikolai Zorin told Vesti. – Compared to the 2002 census, they became much less. Both youth and older people have seriously treated such a large -scale event as the All -Russian census of the population. And trolls and elves, we must be attributed to existing rules in the column “Other Nationalities”.However, representatives of real exotic nationalities, such as Yezid or Gagauz, also live in the territory of the Kirov region. But, as Nikolai Ivanovich notes, there are not many representatives of rare nationalities. More detailed data on the national composition, their number and language, will be known when summing up the final results of the census.- For us, the census has not yet ended, ”added Nikolai Zorin. – The processing of materials continues, we translate census sheets into electronic form, and then on disks all information will be sent to the main interregional center of Rosstat for further processing. By 2012, we will summarize the final results of the census, and its results will be published in printed form in 11 volumes, and the information will be posted on the official sites of Kirovstat and Rosstat, respectively.
