The Prime Minister of the Russian Federation officially approved the hotel room prices in Sochi. We are talking about the Olympic period (winter of 2014). The luxury room at the hotel of 5 stars will not cost more than 13.8 thousand rubles. The cheapest room in a two -star hotel per person will be 2.9 thousand rubles. On average, the cost of a double room in a three -star hotel will be 5.65 thousand rubles. It is noteworthy that breakfast will certainly enter the price.
The government noted that the maximum prices, now established by almost 40% less than those that are now in Sochi. For the period of excitement demand, they can grow even more. So, the Rodina Hotel during the latter investment forum in Sochi offered numbers at a price per day of 157 thousand rubles. Hotels “Pearl” and “Russia” for daytime residence required 17 and 30 thousand, respectively.
Dmitry Medvedev demanded to ensure control of hotel activities during the Olympics to exclude the appearance of the so -called “surrogate payments”, or the inclusion of special services. Hotels in Sochi are supposed to be completed by autumn. Thanks to this, the number of numbers should increase, which will create additional competition by reducing the cost of residence services.
