Viktor Yanukovych signed the law of May 6 this year, which will amend previous laws prescribing the rules for providing social assistance to disabled people and low -income families. The new law will increase the amount of funds from the state aimed at supporting these categories of citizens. This was reported on the official presidential website. The level of subsistence minimum for children with disabilities will increase by 20%. According to this, for children of disabled people, whose age is less than 6 years old, the increase will be 41.5 hryvnias, aged 6 to 18 years, the increase in payment will be 50 hryvnias.
The payment of social support for war disabled people will increase, which need constant care. Here, payments are divided into several categories, according to which the allowance will be made. The surcharge will receive:- Persons who were former or not military who received a disability pension according to the Ukrainian law of the utility for payments released from the army and other persons having disability. The addition will be from 400 to 800 hryvnias of payment.
– persons who are assigned a pension by age, seniority and disability in accordance with the rules established by other laws of Ukraine. The surcharge will be from 120 to 240 hryvnias of payment. Vestet with this by 25% will increase payments to families where there is a child – disabled person.
