Rodriguez Parlya emphasized that despite the union island from the USA, which is ongoing for half a century, a certain progress in the economy and social programs have been achieved in Cuba.

In addition, Rodriguez Parilya visited the rehabilitation center for the disabled and people with disabilities. This medical center began to function in August last year. Active assistance in the work of this medical institution is provided by the Cuba Government. The decision on the immediate creation of this center was made by the Bolivian government immediately after more than 82 thousand people with a mental or psychomotor form of disability were identified in this South African country.
