The Government of the Novosibirsk Region supported the concept of the construction of a regional cluster town in the suburban village.
At a meeting of the regional government, the concept was represented by the Minister of Economic Development of the Novosibirsk Region Alexei Strukov. According to him, the implementation of the project is pursuing the main goal, which is to create a world-class competence center in the field of biopharmaceuticals and information and telecommunication technologies.
The project will be implemented in two stages. During the first, low -rise buildings will be stuck on an area of 60 hectares in a suburban village. According to preliminary estimates, 1.8 million square meters of living space will close the need for housing 52 thousand cluster employees and their families.
The territory in the village of Roofa has already been designed, the engineering infrastructure, including the gas pipeline, is partially completed, work on housing construction is underway, and the minister informed the minister.
At the second stage, the construction of a cluster infrastructure is planned, which will be located a few kilometers from the spoon – in the village of Kainskaya Zaimka. Infrastructure will include representative offices of the largest specialized companies, the International Exhibition Center and the Higher School of Informatics.
The Ministry of Economic Development predicts: by 2020, the generation by residents of the cluster town of the internal regional product will reach a 10 percent level.
According to Strukov, more than 600 hectares were allocated under the cluster town. Project implementation is scheduled for 2013 – 2020. The total construction costs will amount to almost 100 billion rubles. It is planned to allocate funds from the regional and federal budget, it is planned to attract private investments.
