The Ministry of Emergencies warns drivers about a serious complication of the situation on the roads of the capital in connection with cooling. Strong ice is expected on Wednesday on the tracks. It can cause accidents, as well as difficult traffic in many areas. This was stated by representatives of the press service of the Ministry of Emergencies in Moscow.
ITAR-TASS reports that frosts will come to the capital after Mikhailov Day, the next Monday. According to the Meteoro Church of Moscow, before a serious cooling occurs, another anticyclone from the northwest is expected to arrive. Changing, cloudy weather will be installed on Saturday at night and day. There will be rain or wet snow. In warm sectors, the temperature will hold a plus: from 0 to +3.
A fracture will come on Sunday. North winds will bring cold. After the morning thaw in the evening, the temperature will drop to – 7. Frost will aggravate with a sharp north-west wind, gusts up to 15 m/s.
On the roads, the situation will significantly deteriorate – ice is expected.
In the middle of the next week throughout Central Russia, including in the capital, the Arctic cyclone will dominate. At the beginning of the week the temperature will be up to -6, light snow. On Wednesday at night, the thermometer column will drop to minus 7-12, in the afternoon minus 4-9.
Rescuers ask Muscovites carefully and carefully cross the roadway. Due to severe weather conditions and ice, a large number of injuries are possible, as well as the occurrence of dangerous situations on the roads.
