Vladimir Rushailo, who until now has served as the head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, has been appointed to the post of President Transneft from today on the post of security.
According to Transneft President Igor Demin, the ex-head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs Vladimir Rushailo has been appointed from today to the post of vice president of security.“Today, Rushailo began to fulfill its duties as the vice president of Transneft to oversee safety issues. For a long time this position was free, ”said Igor Demin. It is important for the company to use the right approach to ensuring security, and it is Rushailo who will be able to cope with this. According to Demin, the company has a problem regarding the prohibited strokes into pipelines, as well as the existence of an underground system of processing and shadow sales of oil. Demin noted: “Perhaps in matters of theft of oil, corruption structures are involved, with which the police are not able to cope. And Rushailo as a person who worked in several government posts, including the post of head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, will be able to figure out all this, applying an integrated approach ”. The new vice-president of the security company plans a number of measures to increase the level of efficiency of the system as a whole. In particular, it is planned to carry out repair work in certain areas, replacement of waste units, parts and mechanisms. A separate issue is to increase production discipline and qualifications of employees. At the end of 2007, Rushailo was elected senator in the Council from the Arkhangelsk region. After the next regional elections in September 2013, Rushailo left his post in the Federation Council.
