The problem of the traditional practice of preventive vaccinations, which has existed for about 200 years around the world, is complex and multifaceted. Generations, political regimes are replaced, and the vital need for preventive vaccinations is so rooted in the public consciousness that few decide to doubt this. Rare experts and very rare official organizations from the healthcare sector are trying to convey to people their opinion that the benefits of preventive vaccinations are not scientifically justified or proved. Rather, on the contrary, vaccinations undermine people’s immunity and supposedly proved their harm a long time ago.
I do not undertake to claim the benefits or dangers of vaccinations without being a specialist in this specific sphere, but I willingly believe that on the universal preventive vaccination of the population, already fabulously rich pharmacological companies earn astronomical amounts. Huge economic benefits from preventive vaccinations, for individuals, is undeniable, because not a single medicine can collect as much money as any vaccine for vaccinations, because the “target audience” of the medicine is only a certain number of patients suffering from one or another disease, and The involuntary consumer of the preventive vaccine is the entire population. It is not surprising that with such a wide field of activity for vaccines manufacturers and if they have huge financial capabilities, they should not support public opinion about the vital need for vaccination in the right line for themselves. Press, public institutions and civil servants, “independent” scientists and no less “independent” researchers – everything is sold and bought.
Nevertheless, individual streams of information about the dangers, or at least – the uselessness of preventive vaccinations still seep and more and more people refuse vaccination. Many parents adhere to the same position, who, having made such a choice, cannot arrange their children in a kindergarten or school without a certain set of preventive vaccinations.
It is possible that it is precisely because of more and more frequent cases of refusal to vaccinate children that the Ministry of Education of Ukraine extended an official letter from 05.04.2017. “Regarding the conditions for enrolling children in kindergarten in the absence of vaccinations”.
There are no revolutionary ideas in the letter and it is only noted that in accordance with P.6 of the Regulation on a preschool educational institution, taking the child in a preschool institution is carried out by its head on the basis of the statement of the parents and medical certificates on the state of health of the child, and the prophylactic vaccination card is a mandatory component of a medical certificate. Thus, as a general rule, the child cannot be accepted into the kindergarten without all the necessary vaccinations.
At the same time, the Ministry of Education reminded subordinates that children whose parents refuse preventive vaccinations can still be accepted in kindergarten, if there was an appropriate conclusion of the medical consulting commission issued in the manner prescribed by the order of the Ministry of Health No. 434 of 29.eleven.2016. If the commission’s withdrawal contains information that the child can visit the kindergarten, the head of the preschool institution is obliged to accept the child.
As for me, I have not yet folded the final opinion about the problem of preventive vaccinations, but I well remember the condition of my son, who is about 6 months old, introduced one of the planned vaccines, after which the child and neck of the child were almost completely covered with small purulent purulents ulcers that were hardly cured. Moreover, not one of the doctors whom my wife and I addressed could explain the cause of this phenomenon, limiting himself to general phrases about a certain allergy.
